How to create a lead

Note: if you add leads for another member, they will need to accept the leads on the main page or leads page.

To get started, click the “Add Lead” icon. The lead information page is where you can enter the property, client, and inspection info.

Select Inspector

At the top of the page, you will need to select the inspector who will be completing the inspection. If you are logged in as an “inspector” the software will automatically choose you.

Add Property Information

Tip: you do not need to enter the state or city only the zip code. If the zip code does not pull up the proper city or state, contact support@nrcia.org

Choose Inspection Type

Enter Inspection Information

You can adjust the information later if it changes.

Inspection Fees are grouped into 4 types – Invoice, Pay Received, None, and To Be Decided. When you enter in the $ amount, it will populate on the pre-inspection agreement.

Invoiceis for requesting payment ahead of the inspection.
Pay Receivedis for leads that have already paid for future service.
Noneis for free inspections.
To Be Decidedallows you to add the lead without deciding the fee.

Enter Caller Information

If a lead is a repeat client, you can use the existing caller’s button to pull up their information.

Insurance Information (Optional)

If the inspection is an insurance claim inspection or Forensic Roof Inspection, change the question “Is this an insurance inspection” to Yes. Then complete the additional details.

Preview Inspection Agreement

After entering all required information, preview the agreement that your client will receive. When they receive the agreement they can sign and resend it to you. Finally, click “Add” to set up the lead
