Privacy Policy

We recognize that you may be concerned about our use and disclosure of your personal information. Your privacy is very important to us, and the following will inform you of the information that we, NRCIA®, may collect from you, and how it is used. By using our websites, www.nrcia.org and inspectionplus.net, you are accepting the practices described in this policy.

Information Collection

We may collect non-personal information, such as a domain name and IP Address. The domain name and IP address reveals nothing personal about you other than the IP address from which you have accessed our site. We may also collect information about the type of Internet browser you are using, operating system, what brought you to our Website, as well as which of our Web pages you have accessed.

Additionally, if you communicate with us regarding our Website or our services, we will collect any information that you provide to us in any such communication.

We may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Mobile opt-in or phone numbers for the purpose of SMS are not being shared with any third party and affiliate company for marketing purposes.

Information Use

We use the collected information primarily for our own internal purposes, such as providing, maintaining, evaluating, and improving our services and Website, fulfilling requests for information, and providing customer support. Mobile opt-in or phone numbers for the purpose of SMS are not being shared with any third party and affiliate company for marketing purposes.

Security

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

If we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Google OAuth Sign-In, Data Retention & Deletion

Data Collected via Google OAuth

When you use the Sync with Google Calendar feature within InspectionPlus.net, we interface with your Google Calendar. Leads and Inspections created within InspectionPLUS are automatically pushed to your Google Calendar as events. All Google Calendar events are pulled down into InspectionPLUS to block off available inspection time slots when creating leads and inspections within InspectionPLUS.

We do not receive or store your Google account password. We may also receive other profile data you explicitly consent to share during the OAuth process.

We access this data strictly to sync the calendars within InspectionPlus.net. We do not use or share Google user data for purposes outside of those described in this privacy policy.

How We Store and Retain Google User Data

We retain the Google-provided profile information listed above only for as long as necessary to:
Provide and maintain your active account on InspectionPlus.net, Comply with legal obligations, Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Specifically:
Your Google account name (email address) and calendars are retained only while your account is active on this Service; once your account is deleted or deactivated, we remove Google user data in accordance with our deletion procedures described below.

We do not retain Google OAuth access tokens beyond what is necessary for authentication. Storage of refresh tokens or other persistent Google credentials is stored as safely as possible and for as short of a timespan as possible.

Deletion of Google User Data and Access Revocation

You may revoke InspectionPlus.net’s access to your Google account data at any time directly from your Google Account Permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access will immediately stop further data access by InspectionPlus.net.

To delete all Google-provided data associated with your account on InspectionPlus.net, you can either delete your account yourself, or contact support to request an account deletion.
Self-Service Account Deletion: Log in to your InspectionPlus.net account, navigate to Account Settings or Profile and choose “Delete Account.” This initiates account deletion and removal of associated Google profile data.
Support Request for Deletion: If you are unable to complete self-service deletion, you may request deletion by contacting support at:
support@inspectionplus.net (or the support channel you specify) with your account email and deletion request.

Once deletion is initiated:

All Google-sourced profile information and other associated personal data stored by us will be permanently deleted typically within 30 days, except where a longer retention period is required by law (e.g., for tax, audit, or legal compliance).

Encrypted backups may persist for longer only as part of routine backup procedures but are automatically purged in accordance with our backup retention schedule.

Your Rights and Controls

You have the right to:

Access your personal data that we maintain,
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data,
Delete your account and associated data as described above,
Revoke OAuth permissions at any time via your Google account settings.

To exercise your rights or if you have questions about how your Google user data is handled, please contact us at support@inspectionplus.net.
