A members only Facebook community for accredited inspectors

NRCIA has opened a members only Facebook community, a private group for accredited members to talk shop with each other. Field questions, unusual roof conditions, reporting workflow, the awkward call with a seller’s agent. The group is the place to put them in front of people who have already handled the same thing.

Access is limited to current accredited members. Request to join and your membership is verified before you are approved.

What gets posted there

  • Peer discussion. Members comparing findings, methods and how they handled a difficult inspection.
  • Industry insights. Observations from the association on what we are seeing across member reports nationwide.
  • Surveys. Short polls that shape program updates and member resources.
  • Contests. Occasional member contests announced in the group.

Program news and accreditation updates still come through direct member communications. The group runs alongside those channels rather than replacing them.

Why a closed group and not a public page

Inspectors talk candidly about roofs. That conversation includes photographs of failed installations, disputed findings, and the details of jobs that went sideways. A closed group keeps that discussion among people bound by the same standard and the same accreditation.

Please keep client names, addresses and identifying details out of your posts. Strip the address off the photograph before you upload it. Members working forensic or insurance-related files should be especially careful, since those inspections can end up in litigation.

How to join the group

Follow the group link, request access, and use the same name and email on file with your membership so verification is quick. If your request has not been approved within a few business days, contact the membership team and we will sort it out.

The group is one piece of what membership includes, alongside accreditation through RoofGUARD™, ForensicGUARD™, E3GUARD™ and DisasterGUARD™, a listing in the member directory, and the ability to issue a LeakFREE® Roof Certification through InspectionPLUS®.
