Request · Forensic Roof® inspection
An inspection with no side to take.
Tell us about the property and what is happening with the roof. We match your request to an accredited NRCIA inspector who serves your zip code, and they confirm the details and the fee with you before anything is booked.

What every request comes with
An inspector with no side to take
Your request goes to an accredited NRCIA member who serves your zip code. They inspect to the published standard and sign the same Code every member signs.
The fee, agreed before the visit
You see an estimate as you describe the property. The inspector confirms the fee with you before anything is scheduled, and nothing is booked until you agree.
A report you can hand to someone
Photographs, findings and the reasoning behind them, written so a buyer, an adjuster or an attorney can follow it without a roofer in the room.
“There’s no licensing requirement for roof inspectors in California. I can’t gamble on that. When I recommend someone, my reputation is on the line. I choose NRCIA inspectors because they’ve already proven themselves through training and accountability.”

An independent inspector who holds NRCIA accreditation and lists your zip code in their service area. They are a member of the association, trained and credentialed to the NRCIA standard, not an employee of it.
If you would rather choose the inspector yourself, every profile in the member directory has its own request form.
The form shows an estimate as soon as you describe the property, calculated by InspectionPLUS® from the inspection type, the location and the size. It is a starting point. Your inspector confirms the fee with you before anything is scheduled.
The questions in the form work that out with you. They ask what is happening with the roof and why you need it looked at, and the answers point to the right inspection. If you are still unsure, say so in your notes and the inspector will talk it through when they call.
They go to the inspector you are matched with, through InspectionPLUS®, the platform NRCIA members use to run their inspections. They are used to contact you about this request.
The form tells you straight away, before you answer anything about the roof. From there you can search the member directory, which lists every accredited inspector with the territory they cover, or call our office and we will help you look.
Rather choose your inspector?
Every accredited member is in the directory, with their credentials, their service area and a request form of their own.
