Under the federal section are laws and regulations related to Department of Labor, Internal Revenue Service and Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Each state’s respective business organization laws, licensure processes, franchise requirements and legal implications are explained for the state you operate your business by state. Simply select the state and the information is organized for you.
Office Operations – This section covers all front and back office operations customarily found in the roofing industry. It includes five primary concerns: A) Human Resources, B) Accounting, C) Marketing/Sales, D) Insurance, and E) Management (including estimation and project management).
Field Production – This section of the resource library provides insights into the best organizational structure for field operations, explains training (connects directly to the training portfolio on this site), and standards of care out in the field. It includes how to manage fixed assets including transportation assets, best sources of equipment and of course proper procedures to perform production given the nature of the different types of structures.
Included in this resource library are policies and procedures; forms, contract examples, lists, employment documentation processes and links to many necessary compliance sites. This is where the real value of membership is acquired.
All sub sections and pages in this resource library require membership. If you are roofing contractor, membership with the NRCIA provides this wonderful benefit. For those that select the NRCIA Authorized Contractor level, a mentor is assigned to you and will assist your company in reorganizing in compliance with the above structure.
